Why iCloud is usually missing
Many AI email tools build for Gmail first and leave iCloud unsupported. The common workaround is pasting an Apple app-specific password into chat. That puts a secret in a transcript. Inbox Triage keeps the secret on a page only you see.
App-specific password, masked form
Apple requires an app-specific password for third-party IMAP (never your main Apple ID password). Inbox Triage hands you a masked form; the value goes into an encrypted vault, not an MCP tool argument. IMAP is tested against Apple before anything is stored.

Default folders: INBOX + Sent + Drafts. Newest ~300 messages per selected folder. Trash and Spam are never synced.

Any iCloud mailbox with IMAP access and an app-specific password can connect the same way.
Will my agent see my Apple ID password?
No. You enter an app-specific password on Inbox Triage's masked form, never in chat, and the agent never sees it.
Can I connect iCloud and Gmail together?
Yes. Each counts as one inbox on Pro, up to 10 total.
